The Metamorphosis series repurposes work from many years as a printmaker into new art which is environmentally friendly with as little waste as possible. Butterflies are a symbol of rebirth in some cultures which nicely mirrors the metamorphosis of the art from one form to another. This series, including these installations, helps to bring attention to the effect of environmental pollution on species such as butterflies.
