About the Glow Series
The Glow Series, started in 2006, stands apart from Lorna's previous body of work. She made the transition from figurative imagery to atmospheric abstraction inspired by views from airplane windows on journeys all over the world. The lines and shapes she adds to the blended rolls create tension in the work, a push and pull between the solid and the nebulous. The art is a focus for meditation, spirituality and timelessness.
